Description:

This three-hour online workshop invites participants to explore how meaning is constructed, revised, and embodied across the arc of a life. Drawing on psychodrama, narrative psychology, and existential perspectives, we will integrate Bruce Feiler's three pillars of meaning (Agency, Belonging, and Cause), life-line exploration, and action-based methodology to illuminate critical turning points in participants' life stories.

Through structured reflection, sociometric choice, and carefully paced enactments, participants will explore how life events are narrated, meaning shifts over time, and how new narratives can be consciously authored. This workshop emphasizes depth, integration, and professional relevance while honoring the intimate nature of a small, online group experience.

OBJECTIVES:
At the end of this workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Explore and apply Feiler's three pillars of meaning (Agency, Belonging, and Cause) to illuminate how different forms of meaning organize life narratives across time and transition.
  • Use the life-line technique to explore how meaning is constructed at different developmental or transitional points, including moments of disruption, choice, or renewal.
  • Describe at least one action-based reframing structure to support movement from constricting or contamination narratives toward more integrated, meaning-centered narratives, with attention to clinical and professional application.
